    Hi Robjim...

The washer to the brasscraft series of toilet shutoffs are FLAT. All shutoffs that I know of nowadays have flat washers or orings, etc. but no manufacturers use bevelled washers anymore that I know of... ;)

    Did that answer the question?

    Let me know...

Any time I run across a leaky one I replace it with a 1/4-turn ball valve instead of rebuilding it.

I cannot find a valve to shut off my constantly running toilet, till the plumber can arrive. Toilet Shut off Valve Broke off! [ 2 Answers ]

I dropped my hairdryer and it hit the toilet shut off valve. The oval shapped valve broke off - it looked like it was connected by plastic and some putty - probably some patch up job from the previous homeowner. Is it easy to replace just the knob?
