    How old do you have to be to choose which parent want to live with?
    I want to know how old you have to be in the state of Indiana to decide that you want to live with your other parent.

    As you'll see in that note, a child cannot make that decision. A guardian ad litem and/or judge may listen to the child's desires but that doesn't necessarily mean they will rule in favor of what the child wants.

    Can you give us some more information regarding your circumstances? What is happening or not happening that you'd like to live with your other parent?
