    Stomping upstairs apartment
The lady upstairs stomps around and has her grandkids running inside, I have asked her to be considerate that I live on the floor below, but when it happens and I give a little knock on the ceiling, she pounds back like it's a game, and just stomps around louder and louder, she is in her 50's so she does know better. Do you have a list of etiquette I can print out and drop in her mailbox about walking quietly and being a good neighbour?

Why not try writing a letter just kindly asking her her to stop? If you were to write a list of what she should be doing, she probably won't take it seriosly. If she can't can't act like an adult and consider your letter, try speaking to the landlord about the situation.

I have 1 heating/AC unit and 2 thermostats. 1 for the entire downstairs and 1 for the room above my garage. Upstairs apartment leaking - Who pays? [ 1 Answers ]

I own a condo in Miami, Florida. Part of the ceiling and a wall have water damage. I had an A/C technician come to take a look at it because I thought it may have had something to do with the vent. He told me that it wasn't the air conditioner or the vents, but probably a drain leaking from the...

Radiator leaks from upstairs apartment to my apt. [ 4 Answers ]

Hi, I just wanted to find out why my ceiling is leaking constantly from a tiny hole in the ceiling. I live in a 50 year old apartment building in nyc possibly older than 50 years old. Well, every other week or so my ceiling is leaking. I can only guess that it is coming from the upstairs radiator....
