    2 days using pills.. possibility of getting pregnant?
    Is der a possibility of getting pregnant. Its my 1st tym using althea pills. And today is my second day of drinking it . We had a contact and my husband did it inside. I'm worried about it. Thanks..

    With that said, it takes about 30 days for the birth control pill to be effective. After 2 days you are not provided protection from pregnancy.

    Also, remember that the pill is not 100% effective. There is still a risk, however small, of pregnancy even if you take the pills exactly as prescribed. Two or three methods of birth control combined significantly reduce the risk of pregnancy.
