    Broken pressure gage
Our new home has a newly installed 125 foot deep well with an 86 gallon tank above ground out in the yard. After several nights of below freezing temperatures the pressure gage seemed to go berserk and it read 100 and then went down to zero where it has stayed ever since. The guy who installed it acted like it is no big deal. Shouldn't he replace it ? We would expect it should be warrantied and/ or he should have warned us of any potential problems since it was installed just before winter hit... We now plan to build a shed house before next winter for sure. We'd appreciate some advice on what to do from here

It is no big deal but he should replace it if the job was within his warranty period. What warranty did he give you?

So sorry. Not very good on how these sites work. I just revisited this site and realized I hadn't rated it. You were right on. It still functions, despite the installer not installing a new one. Thanks :)
