Help me fix my shower! Water is a light trickle while on full blast...
Ok, as of a few days ago my shower has decided to mess up. (Im guessing it did this to make my Christmas madness even more insane and my wallet even emptier) Here's the story:

Water trickles out of shower head while on full blast. Its just barely coming out. And there's no hot water at all, just a little bit of cold.

At first we thought maybe the pipes were frozen but that doesn't seem to be the case, even though the bathroom and shower are rediculously cold (michigan winter) There are no other problems with frozen pipes anywhere else, just the shower not working.
The house is on a crawlspace which we've had flooding problems with. Once we were down there, we couldn't see anything that appears to be causing the problem. No ice puddles, no frozen or bursted pipes (the pipes are also insulated) Everything seems to be cold, but fine under the house. The rest of the plumbing is what Im worried about, behind the shower wall. Do I really have to rip my shower liner out and bust into my wall to investigate further? Could it be a problem with the valve not working properly? Or maybe a clog between the valve and the shower head?

ANY advice is VERY much appreciated, especially if it saves me from having to do some demolition work right before christmas.

happy holidays & thank you =)

Did you removed the shower head and see if you had pressure? No matter what I don't think you'll end up tearing into walls but if you have no pressure with the shower head off you'll have to shut the water off and open up the valve to check for trash and to flush out the supplies.
