    Heater and air conditioner running at same time?
    I have a gas furnace. Husband installed new thermostat a couple months ago & am wondering if he may've connected some wire wrong?

    Yah! No cause both should run, as there won't be any result. Please check wiring connection with help of manusl or call arepairman.
