    Can you mix and match 6 ton 12 seer heat pump with 4 ton 10 seer airhandler?
    Moving into a rancher 2,300 sq/ft and the heat pump (split hvac system, I'm told it is a 4 ton 10 seer r-22 system) has been stolen (assuming for copper coil, they left the rest). I have been looking for a heat pump that would match the air handler tonnage and energy efficiency rating, but to no avail. SOO I was wondering if I could just mix and match to some extent. I understand that it couldn't be too drastic of a difference in size/efficiency, and they would both have to use R-22 freon. ANY HELP?? Going crazy trying to figure this out, moving in soon and its COLD
