Pregnancy is possible every time you have sex, protected or unprotected (no form of birth control is 100% effective).

If you want to lower the chances of pregnancy than I recommend that you use at least 2 forms of birth control. I say lower the chances because even with 2 or more forms of birth control, pregnancy is possible, just less likely.

No one can tell you if you're pregnant or not. You'll have to wait, if you miss your period than try an hpt (home pregnancy test) and use first morning urine, it's more concentrated and therefore more accurate.

To the rest of the posters on this thread. I was a bit upset that you all were sarcastic and unhelpful. Please try to remember that people come here for advice, and they are often upset, or worried about something. Yes, unprotected sex leads to pregnancy, but stating that the OP is trying to conceive, not necessarily, and no need to state that and give absolutely no advice on the question asked! Also, posting a factually incorrect post, even in jest, is not okay.

I hear what you are saying... just when someone who has unprotected sex "A LOT" and is somehow surprised they might get pregnant (in this day and age) actually provokes that sort of response. Because most 12 year olds are aware of the risk thanks to sex education in the school systems..

I completely understand, and I agree. Sadly a lot of people don't have any idea how pregnancy occurs, or how to protect themselves. Remember the poster that asked if she could get pregnant through oral sex?

It is frustrating to get so many of these "am I pregnant" or "could I be pregnant questions". Yes, if you're having sex, protected or unprotected, you could be pregnant.

It just amazes me that they really think that someone on the internet can tell them whether they are.

I do often bang my head against a wall because of questions like these, but the fact is, the OP obviously has no idea, otherwise why would she ask? I've gotten to the point where I just answer, give them the information, and hope that they go out and educate themselves before it's too late. That's all we can do.
