    should i file bankruptcy or not?
    My wife and myself are both on ssdi and ltd, we are possibly going to file chapter 7 here in Colorado. The problem is I just started to receive checks from a abestos settlement. The checks are not big 2-thousand dollar checks so far but I hate to loose them, my wife also has a case pending for the same thing. I have read here in Colorado personal injury claims are exempt, but after seeing a lawyer all he could tell me was I might or might not loose the settlement. I have a house that is upside down but I don't want to let it go, don't know if I should file bankruptcy or just let the creditors come after me in court. My wife is not on my house loan and have nothing else of any value, raising my grandson and just barley getting by.

    What sort of creditors do you have at this point that you are thinking of discharging in a bankruptcy proceeding?
