    Electrical outlets in dry wall
When my house was built, metal electrical wall outlets were nailed securely to the studs, grounded to the wiring, and installed to match the depth of the dry wall plus the thickness of paneling installed over the dry wall. Now we want to remove the paneling keeping only the dry wall and painting it. The problem is the electrical outlets are now too far out from the wall and it is not possible to cover the outlets with a cover that is flush with the wall. It seems the only solution might be to remove the section of dry wall and reset the outlets. We have tried to find out let covers that were deeper but we have been unable to find covers that will be flush with the wall. Do you know of any alternative way to reset the outlets without removing the dry wall?

U can use a piece of paneling a little larger then cover plate. Paint the same color as walls. Will be almost invisible. Or u can leave paneling wood finish and use wood cover plates.
