My son has threatened to rub hobbinerros on my toilet seat hurt me , tried to break my windshiels with an ice ball,has said to social worker that he wants to get me so mad I hit him so I go to jail has assaulted me ,and has said he will kill me and my g/f while asleep,even as far to a therapist ,who has testified in court to this , has lied to social workers , is very mentally unstable see many proffesionals for mental disorders, I BELIEVE I WILL END UP DEAD IF MY VISITS CONTINUE , and I still am unsure of even asking a judge to stop visits let alone trying to ask for voulentary termination , because I'm sure wisc, will still make me pay support also, oh I forgot to say he has been in foster care for 5 years also, so NO plan to pay FOREVER!! He

I'm not sure what your question is, but you posted on a thread from 2007.

Guess what? It's YOUR child. YOU should have been taking more responsibility when he was younger. Why is your child in foster care to begin with?

And sorry--once again, it's YOUR child. You SHOULD be paying child support! If you didn't want to pay child support or take responsibility for your child, why in the heck did you have sex? As a taxpayer, I shouldn't have to be responsible for the child that YOU created.

Unless the child is adopted by the foster parents, you WILL have to pay child support until the child is 18. It doesn't matter how much you hate the child or the child hates you. Parental responsibility is yours unless the child is adopted.

So... congratulations! You didn't parent well enough to retain custody of your child, so your child was placed in foster care. What are you doing to repair the damage? Therapy for the child is all well and good--but what about joint therapy? What about therapy for YOU?

PS--if voluntary termination could happen to get out of child support, there would be a line from here to the moon and back of deadbeat parents wanting to terminate parental rights. Welcome to the title of Deadbeat Parent.

PPS--if you want visitations to stop, then ask that they stop. No one is going to make you visit. They ARE going to continue to make you pay child support, though.
