    Pull switch hard wire?
I have a shop light with a pull chain switch. The switch only turns on one of the two 300 watt fluorescent bulbs. Normally each pull would turn on one, then the other, then both. Can I just remove the switch completely and hard wire it and use the plug to turn it on and off?

    Yes, it can be done.

Have u checked to see if a wire is disconnected from the switch?

To do your job, u will have to remove wires from switch and connect them directly to the wire coming into light. There should be 6 wires to switch. Twist the like colors from light together. Wire nut each set to each wire coming from cable.

I would recommend putting a roll switch on cable.
