    Where does the capital funds come from when completing an unadjusted trail balance?
    When completing an unadjusted trail balance; where does the capital funds figures come from? I've looked at my book and I can't find the answer. Can you help?

    Capital funds has a couple of different definitions. I'm assuming you mean the owner's equity. Please verify this, and tell me what you are trying to do. Was there an increase in capital, for example the owner might have increased his investment in the business? Are they asking you a question about the amount of capital in the business?
