Me and ex dated over 2 and half years. We went through some tough times together. Long story short I was dianosed with PTSD from the Iraq war. She was there for so many times. We broke up and got back together this last December and things really started to turn around. We got back together cause I was stupid. I broke up with her bascially cause she wasn't taking care of her physically. Not eating right not exercising etc. I know it was shallow. Things after that started to get so much better and our relationship was going to the next level. The last weekend in June we had a create time together but I could tell she was acting different. She was also planning on moving to South Carolina and we were going to move in together. She broke up with me that weekend and not even a week later she had a boyfriend. She couldn't even tell I found out through Facebook. Two months later she send me an email saying she engaged and getting married. A few weeks later she got married. Can you marry someone after only knowing them for three months. She also told me in the another email that I was first guy she has ever loved and still getting over me. I know something is wrong and I also know this guy is shady cause she said that her boyfriend spoke to me on the phone and I promised him something. I haven't spoken to this guy at all. I know it over and I will probably never talk to her again. Should I confront this guy or just leave it alone. Also tell what she thinking in her mind.

As for the ex getting married, leave it alone, and move beyond it, as there was much going on you know nothing about. Just wish her well, and focus just on you now. She did what she could, be grateful, and don't be bitter that she went in another direction for herself.

You should just contact her and congratulate her on the wedding and wish her well, then move on with your life! To be honest though, that's a really fast time to move on and then get married so maybe, just maybe, she was with this guy in the last few weeks she was with you.. I really hope I'm wrong, but it's a possibility or on the other hand it's the rebound guy and he just really wants marriage!! Whatever the case is, just be happy for her and try to move on!! I know its hard, I'm going through a break up from 3 months ago and my ex is in a new relationship now, its hard but we'll get through it!! Wishing you all the best!!

If she married someone that quick... I give it odds she's been with him for a lot longer than the 2 months you thought.

Sometimes you just have to walk away because its something you have to do... As a Combat Vet (thank you for your service) I'm sure you have done this many times.

There are a lot of women out there that are better than she obviously was. Count your blessings, when you find one of them you will be thankful.

I know this post is several years old but I was wondering if your ex is still married or did she ever contact you after she got married. I'm actually going through a very similar situation. She actually never broke things off just did the whole "need space and time" then I found out she got married a couple of weeks later. That was about 4 months ago.
