Sink Dish Sprayer Connection broken... can't find replacement
The Dish Sprayer for my sink broke. The way that the hose fits onto the bottom of the sink is curious. It is brass fitting with a kind of shell over it in two pieces held on by a piece of wire. It pops right onto the sink and doesn't require tightening any bolts or nuts or anything. I went to Home Depot to try to find a sprayer with a similar fitting and they told me it was new and they don't sell it. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement?

Hi Rizzaman... Take a few pictures of the faucet and the spray attachment under the sink and bring them over to a local plumbing supply house... they should be able to guide you to the correct manufacturer. You could also post the pictures here... maybe we know the brand. Maybe not, though! Up to you... Good luck! Mark |

The valve assembly under the sink is brass with a integral tee for the sprayer hose. The hose connector is unthreaded. Under the sink at the end of the stainless steel sprayer hose is a 3/4" long brass coupling, then a gray plastic piece inserted into the brass coupling that fits over the integral...
We've tried to replace the sink sprayer and it still doesn't work. It sprays one big burst and then trickles so we think it's the diverter valve but we can't get it out - seems low in the faucet. Don't know the manufacturer name of sink faucets. How can we be sure.
I tightened the packing nut from behind the shut off valve to fix that leaking issue... now the sprayer line is leaking from either from the nut or the collar that sits just below the nut.. I cannot tighten or loosen it to remove it. There is no space in there for a wrench to maneuver
The hose from my sprayer connects under my sink with an almost air-hose type connection with a small O-ring. (which is fine), What seemed to be left after it came off was a plastic casing in two parts, held together with wire. It comes from the manufacturer this way. Can anyone please explain how...
My old spray head literally fell apart. I replaced with a new head (Danco brand). The problem is that now I get a weak spray with most of the water coming out of the faucet and not the sprayer head.
