    How long is sentence for first time fraud charge in canada
    Hi
    I was an idiot and used someone else's credit card and now I'm being charged with fraud, could anyone please tell me what the senyencw would be? If its my first time and I've had a clean record, do I still go to jail?

    Have you repaid any and all of the damages to the other person ?

    You may expect to actually get probation , you do need to have an attorney

    I did offer to pay the money back,
    What would my chances be without the lawyer if I've already cofessed everything?

    1. confessing to anything, or even answering a question without an attorney is just stupid, it can make many things worst ( you lose one chance to make a deal for lesser charges)

    2. not offer to pay, but actually paid them back

    And your chances of getting a worst sentence is about 100 percent without an attorney.
