I've been married for last four months and I want to know why my husband's sperm always comes out after sex.It doesn't stay inside at all.

We don't have any gynecologists on the site, but many can help you with your question.

It is very common for some of the semen to flow back out after sex. Happens for most couples. Rest assured plenty of sperm are deposited near your cervix. If it gives you some peace of mind, try staying lying down for 20 minutes or so. Some women will even put a small pillow under their bum in hopes of keeping more inside. It's not really necessary, but it helps them to feel that they are doing everything they can.

Four months, while it seems long if you are trying to become pregnant, is actually a relatively short time to be trying. Most couples will become pregnant within the first year of trying, but for some it may even take a bit longer and can still be perfectly fine. Just as an example, for younger women (under 35), many doctors won't even consider performing any fertility testing until you have been trying for at least a year because it is that common.

I agree with Doula C, because our vagina doesn't close, it stays open. There's no muscle there to close it, like we have in our rectum or urethra to keep our stool and urine in. The GOOD news if you're trying to have a baby, is that the vagina is lubricated, and that wetness allows the sperm to travel up into the uterus to fertilize the eggs we carry. This is microscopic, so we can't see it with the naked eye, but even if some sperm leaks out, it only takes one sperm to fertilize that egg. Also, if you were using the birth control pill before, it sometimes takes 6 months to get the hormones out of your system to encourage pregnancy.
