How do I change the hot limit on my single handled shower?
We moved into our several months ago and the master bathroom shower does allow the water to get hot. It is a Moen and the site does not give instructions unless a particular faucet is chosen for directions on how the limit or how much hot water is allowed to flow from the showerhead can be changed. I tried taking off the handle but but the screws are not in a place that I can easily unscrew them to see what is behind the plate. Any suggestions?

    1. Remove handle
    2. There is a small plastic or brass ring
    3. Either adjust it so you get more hot water or toss it ( see "A" )
    4. Reinstall handle

When we turn on the single handled kitchen faucet no water comes out initially. It doesn't seem to matter what position the handle is in. Repeating the process will turn the water on immediately sometimes, but not always.
