Married a lady from China and I am treated awful
Sorry but did not know where else to ask. I married my wife in China 3 years ago. She has been here 2 years. She really treats me really bad as for as yelling and gets mad at me for no reason. We lived here in my mothers house and my mother passed away April 2009 and I took over the house last year. She would scream and make my Mom cry. Just been a nightmare but I keep trying to make it work. After my Mom died she got worse yelling and things. She even said I was no man because I was upset when my Mom died. What can I do? I clean everything inside and out, have a 12 acre field and yard I keep up , you name it I do it all. We still have one last interview to go to and I am just so fed up I want her to leave. But to beat all, she had her son come here last month. He will not listen to anything I say and tell me NO. He is 18. I cannot control him and neither can she but stays mad at me for what he does? I just cannot take this anymore week after week. I keep a calendar on my computer and every week she wakes me up yelling or something that I have no idea why. When I am sick, she will not speak to me or anything and ignores me. I help her when she is sick with all my care. What is the deal? Do Chinese people have no feelings like I do (Americans)? I am really so tired of this I want them gone as it is awfulf for me. Would rather live by myself. Can USCIS do anything? Please Help.. Thank you

USCIS cannot help you, but you can. It sounds like the two of you need counseling or a divorce. Sorry to hear about your situation. There are significant cultural differences, as well as those differences that are personal to each of you.

How long did you date and go out before you married each other. She did not start yelling the day you were married and never did before

Also this has nothing to do with race, do you have racial issues that make you keep naming it.

I found your answer very, well, unusual? I have nothing to do with race, if I did me being american and me go all the way to China 5 times before I marry my wife? I came for advice and this was wrong. Sorry for the trouble. God Bless

Trying to get to more the real issue of the marriage, too many americans get what I call "mail order" brides from China thinking they will obey and be more slaves than actual equal partners.

I admit, this was a dumb thing to do... it happened in may 2004, and let's just say I was "not in the best state of mind". I also must mention: I ended-up returning (after having real docs signed/ceremony preformed in china), not getting paid, and after hearing from my "liaison" that I would...
