    1987 honda civic sensor overheat?
The temperature gauge shows over heating... up to the red zone. I replaced the thermostat and did a radiator flush, also checked the water pump but it seamed fine. I have the fan hooked up to a toggle switch and it is always on. This happens in town and also on the highway. Sometimes it doesn't do it though, ussually after I top up the rad, however I put coolant in and it still said it was over heating. However I chicked the radiator cap and could still hold my hand on it. The motor felt hot but no warmer than ussual. I am unsure as to if it is just a sensor or a bad rad? Any suggestions would be appreciative.
