    Honda Civic 1984-1987, what up with the head gasket
    Is it true that the head gasket blown a lot on these cars

    I know that head gaskets mostly break because the head bolts/nuts loosened. In an alloy block and head, the alloy expands differently than the steel fasteners (Per degree temperature change). This loosens the fasteners. Of course, that is if they weren't re-torqued properly following maintenance. ("Tight enough" vs. using a torque wrench)
