    You have the right to try grand theft larceny, but of course we don't know the story, and police are usually reluctant to make arrests unless it's something easily identifiable and trackable as belonging to you, like a vehicle. What is his idea of justification for keeping it? And do you have documentation of ownership? Why did you leave without it?

    He didn't steal it, he "kept" it.
