Could this be a dream or has something happened
My daughter who is 4 told me something shocking! She said that she had a bad dream,
She said that my ex boyfriend was letting her play with his "what dya ma call it's".
It doesn't take an idiot to work out what's going on here.
I'm frightened that he may have sexually molested her. She says it was a dream but isn't that where it all starts?
    What do I do?
Without proof I'm left wondering what I should do.
This is so scary so please guys help me out here. I'm mortified.
My daughters innocence may have been taken.
    Someone please advise me.
This is not a joke and I hope no one treats it as such.
I'm going to call the social services however your feedback will be appreciated.
    Thank You

I assume the guy is an "ex" for reasons other than this possibility... and it seems you have already conjured up the worst case scenario in your mind.

Are you certain your daughter was referring to his sexual organ? Did you lead her down this description, or did she clealrly point or describe it? Unless there is more information than you stated, you may simply be jumping to a premature conclusion as a result of your own biases.

Has your daughter seemed troubled by the dream, or is it more of a curiosity? I doubt she was out to shock you, but perhaps she was watching your reaction to what she said and followed you on it.

Most certainly however - an assessment should be made by a qualified professional. I hope that this is nothing more than a dream and simple curiosity...

I totally agree, I think you should have her talk to a professional who deals with this kind of stuff.

Yes I did ask her what a "what dya ma call it is". She replied "that thing on his bum".
You're right, I'm seeking professional advice.
    I can't ignore it.
I'm her mother and I'd never forgive myself if this dream turned into
    Reality.
I do appreciate your sound advice.
    Thank you so much.
