    Why will dryer not spin?
    Dryer model leq8000hq0 whirlpool won't spin. I can spin drum by hand and the belts are not broken. I am not sure what to look for next. Any ideas would be helpful.

    Is the motor spinning? Is the belt on the pulley under the drum? Sometimes there is s microswitch attached to the same pulley and they go bad?

    Dryer starts for a second or two then cuts off. I guess its because it is not spinning. Door switch is good. Sounds like it is bound but it spins freely.

    Hmmmm. It is now lol. The dryer starts then shuts down. I guess its due to it not spinning. Door switch is good. Sounds like it is bound but it spins freely.
