Troubleshooting no heat in a honda?
I have a 91 Honda prelude that gets no heat when I turn the heater on, I also get a film on the windshield when I try to use the defrost and my coolant is a little low. I thought these seamed like the symptoms of a bad heater core but when I pulled out the dash and located the heater core there are no obvious leaks and no visible moisture in the core housing. What else could it be?

My blower fan on a variable speed heat pump system blows high speed cold air so my body feels cold with the system on and OK with the system off. What causes the system to change speeds... or not?
Low pressure switch shuts down unit. Jumped across low pressure switch so unit will run. High pressure side is 270 psi low pressure side is 0 psi. I believe the unit is low on freon but the HVAC tech says it's a bad expansion valve ( that he replaced 2 years ago ). What do you think. George
