    How do I get the washer off the pipe so I can replace it with a new washer and nut

    What pipe? What valve/faucet? Hot or cold water... or both leaking? Is this a shutoff?

    Not having any information about what type of valve we're talking about we need to know the type of faucet, its brand name, its age and any other details that you have. Back to you, Tom
