    Smell after having a shower...
Every after having a shower, my bathroom smells of some odd smell, coming from nowhere as most people seems to suggest with the similar problem. I don't know what to do to get rid of this smell. Usually I leave the bathroom door open to let the moisture out and after a couple of hours the smell disappears. What seems to be the problem and how can I solve it? I am desperate.

If your bathroom has a shower you should also have an exhaust fan to get the moisture out fast. Mold and mildew can easily grow on bathroom walls unventilated. Here is a long shot but its cheap and kind of fun. Mix 1/2 cup of salt with 1/2 cup of baking soda and dump down the shower drain followed by a cup of vinegar, watch the action. Next day dump several buckets of really hot wayter into the shwer drain, any better?

I have pour a whole bottle of thick bleach down the drain, left it for 10 minutes and then half filled the bath and drained it to clear the pipes. Am pleased to say the smell has surprisngly vanished, I hope permanently! Thanks to this website.

Hi, I will try that tonight as well as a double measure and hopefully that will add to the bleach action. And report back to you. THANKS.

I cannot determine why our upstairs shower has a sulfur smell after it's been used. I've snaked the drain and it's clear, have tried drano (but it's not backed up so I'm pretty sure this was useless) and have tried pouring bleach down the drain (not sure if this helped as the bleach smell was very...
