Why does my 1986 ford ranger v6 run hot on express way only?
Doesn't run hot around town, only on express way. Has new pump, hoses, therm, belts, fan, fclutch. Radiator maybe, but can see water flowing at idle. Don't know at highway speed

Ensure there's no air in the system and there is nothing blocking the air flow. After that, the radiator likely needs replacing, due to phosphate scale.
