1994 ford ranger not starting when hot?
My 1994 Ford Ranger 3.0 L V6 onl;y has 100,000 miles on it. Sometimes when I drive it I will go like 10 miles or so and then if I park it and try to start it again like two minutes later it won't start. It will crank over but not start. But it only does it a couple of days a week. It's not the fuel shutoff switch either. I called a couple places and they thought it was the distributor module. I talked to some others who thought it might be the timing. What do you think? Does my truck have a timing chain or a timing belt?

It's the solenoid that's bad. The same thing happened to one of my vehicles and it turned out that they could only diagnose the problem properly when the solenoid quit altogether.

2001 Ranger. I found dangling down from left side rear a hose with a cilp. It was attached to the axle housing. What is it for and where does it go. It just appears to be some type of air hose but is not attached to anything at other end. Should I be concerned? Thanks
