Am I suffering plantar fasciitis?
For the recent year I suffer pain at the palms of my feet when I walk, especially in the morning when I get up of bed, after a long sit or lying down, or after a long walk. The pain focuses at the center back (a bit to the outer side) of my feet palms near the front side of my heels and sometimes spreads to the inner and outer sides of my feet palm. The pain is equal at both feet with the pain at the right feet a bit intense. So when I wake up every morning and got out of bed, I limp. The pain will be gone after standing or walking around for a while.
I have tried to use heel paddings for my shoes and sandals based on a suggestion from a friend. They eased the pain but didn't cure it.
I searched for information in the Internet and I found plantar fasciitis, which symptoms resemble my feet pain.
Am I really suffering plantar fasciitis? Is there any treatment for the pain at my feet? Please help me. Thank you.

You need to see a good podiatrist to properly diagnose your foot pain, although your description is pretty good, it is almost impossible to diagnose a foot problem without having the said foot in plain view. Proper orthotics can do wonders to eleviate foot pain; this is what a podiatrist does.

I'm not an expert, but I do have plantar fasciitis. Suffered for a year in pain and finally got the referral to go to a Podiatrist. My pain is in the middle of the heel and goes up the inner sides of my both feet. Can't even touch the feet it is so tender. First thing in the morning is the worst, and in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Have to walk on my toes and limp and hold onto the bed and dresser. Even after driving and getting out the car, that first few steps are painful.
They gave me cortizone shots, they put my feet in casts to immobilize them and take the weight off the foot. Didn't work, as soon as the cast came off the pain came back. He put me in a boot for a month on each foot. I hate to sound discouraging, and I also hate to be in pain. Mine, for some reason, does not and will not go away. I stretch my feet, regularly, I tried everything the doctor recommended but this is one stubborn case I guess, because nothing has worked thus far. I'm looking for suggestions myself to heal my feet so I can live a normal athletic life again. My life has been put on hold and I've gained a lot of weight from lack of exercise.
Good luck to you, but like the other person mentioned go to the Podiatrist and get an accurate diagnosis. Sounds an awful lot like my problem though, but I'm not a doctor.

I have never worked with a Podiatrist here where I live who puts feet in casts to correct this condition, and I do give referrals after comsulting with an RN who gives a second opinion regarding foot problems. Proper orthotics are designed to fit inside the shoe to correct or discourage the pain from this condition. Thse orthotics are made from a caste of the foot and are up-dated as the condition improves. Orthotics are designed to correct and eleviate pain from the foot, and any other area of the body that has been damaged from the foot being, for lack of a better phrase, out of focus.
My information came from my training in foot care.
Tony, you have been to a charlatan.

He also made me custom orthotics out of casts of my feet. Did not work... period. I had no improvement whatsoever after wearing these orthotics in my shoes for a long period. I'm finding the only time I feel a little less pain is when I wear crocs. I've tried the more expensive shoes from New Balance, they are no better for my feet then a simple pair of crocs.
So once again, my pain was not alleviated by wearing these expensive orthotics they created for me. One more discouraging attempt to correct my problem. My podiatrist has given up on me and said he can no longer treat me, there are no more options for him to explore. Nice...
