I have a troybilt pony rider, it runs about 5 minutes and dies.
I have to jump it to get it started, I have a new battery, changed the oil, new plug, new air filter, new solenoid, when I get it started sometimes it smokes real bad, this junker is only 5 years old and never sees bad weather its always cleaned and put in a shed when not in use

My 96 Accord will start and run for 10 minutes then die. After it sits for about 20 minutes it will restart like nothing was wrong. Not weather dependent (i.e. hot days vs cold days, no diff) I have replaced the ignition switch and the main relay so far. Seems like something is working fine...
Troybilt pony not in adjusment

Could anyone tell me if there is an adjustment to the drive/tranny belt on a troybilt pony mower I can't go downhill but can go on level and uphill surfaces thanks
