Had a "period" last month that lasted only 2 days (regular flow) followed by 1 day of pink spotting. Got a pregnancy blood test which was negative. But I still had symptoms which I never have any other month, sore breasts and pressure type cramping in lower abdomen. This month I think my "period" came 2 days early but lasted only over 24 hours (ended last night) but was lighter than my normal period and had no clots (I normally have clots, although it was still red). I am still having pink spotting throughout the day today. Husband and I had intercourse around Ovulation time but if I'm not pregnant than why the sudden change in my period? My periods have always been pretty heavy with clotting (not too large). ~ Thought I'd mention that I had a red blood flow with my 1st pregnancy 6 years ago that I thought was my period.

It's possible the blood test was done a bit too early. Since you have now had another unusual period, I'd ask about having another one done. Or take a urine test at home. If you have another blood test, ask for a quantitative one and they will quite likely also do an ultrasound to check for a pregnancy or to determine if there is another cause.
If you are older, it may also be changes in hormones starting.
