    Furnace completely covered in ice to include the furnace. What shoout I do?
    Pipe leading from the outside unit to the furnace completely covered in ice to include the furnace. I have since turned the unit off, ice is melting, but afraid to turn the unit back on.

    Leave unit turned off overnight, check filter, if dirty replace, turn unit back on and see what happens. If filter is clean, call in an a/c tech to diognose problem.
