    Should I replace my 18 year old, 5 ton Trane, 10 seer condenser?
    Unit works fine right now but is already showing signs of wear. The electric switch is starting to go and that is a $300 job. Should I just bite the bullet and take advantage of the tax credit?

    Its your call,$300 would be a help toward a new system
    But there again it should have a few more years left in it
    But then again they are not going to get any cheaper
