How old are you? Sex is for love! If you love him and wear protection your fine! But you really really REALLY have to love him because you don't want to be on 16 and pregnant!

I went back to read all of your threads, and I'm going to make a guess at your age...
13/14?
Would that be about right.
Whatever your age,if you have to ask should you or should you not have sex,the answer is always no.
If you have to ask, your not sure.
And as I'm guessing your underage,my answer would still be no.
There is plenty of time for boys and sex, give yourself a childhood first, have fun with your friends, get good grades.
Give yourself a chance to grow up before to have to make adult decisions that will effect your life.
Edit post to include stickie.

No. You shouldn't have sex, unless you're physically, mentally, financially and emotionally ready to have a child.
You do realize that no birth control is 100% effective, right?
The fact is, there are many people that have used 3 or more methods of birth control at the same time, and they still became pregnant.
Are you ready to be a mother? Can you support yourself and a child?
If not, than don't have sex. It's that simple.

No form of birth control is 100% effective.

The reason there are age of consent laws is that teenagers are generally not competent to know when they are ready.

NO, NO , NO
No one should engage in sexual intercourse unless they are financially, physically and emotionally ready to have a child. No form of protection is 100%. Sex is not recreation. Its something to be shared by two people who have formed a deep and committed relationship to each other. If you boyfriend cares about you and respects you, he won't pressure you.

Sex does not mean love, love is an emotion and means you spend time together, talk and let love grow. There is always time for sex,

I fully agree with this post, too many people both young and old rush into sex and they are not ready for it. If you are questioning it, most likely you already know that you are not ready for it so don't do it. I hope this helps. Take care

You are not married so nothing is certain. If you have sex with him today and he breaks up with you tomorrow, there's nothing you can do. It would not be worth it. You're virginity is something special. You can only give it once so give to the one person you will spend the rest of your life with, your husband.

Are you a vergin that's the real question if yes how long have you been dating 2 or 3 years and do you love him? If no and its just the controception then you can get a contriceptive tube that will make sure you won't have kids for 3 years or ask a nurse gp or your lacal chemist or your parents for other tips and also I don't think the child bith is the problem.

What?
This is a teen, probably only 13 or 14 years old, and you're saying she should have sex?
Contraception, no matter what type, is not 100%. I doubt very much that a young teen is ready to be a mother.

Rollie-Pollie... You saw what familylovers response was. She says she has fostered many babies. I think you would not like being pregnant and having a child in foster care.
Don't have sex. Some babies who are born to young teenagers will end up in Foster care. The mothers are too young to raise them, so someone else gets paid to do it.
Ifyou wait until you are old enough , you won't be sorry.
Be responsible. Wait.

You can have sex with this guy. Fall pregnant, He will leave you and you will have to either raise the child choose to have an abortion or give it up for adoption by yourself.
Then struggle for many years with the fact you lost your virginity to him. You could also struggle raising it or thinking maybe I should have kept it.
Then one day you find a guy who treats you right and cares for you and you regret losing your virginity to this boy.
Boys come and go. Don't waste something so precious on someone disposable.

What's the rush to have sex when you're so young? You have the rest of your adult life to wrestle with this kind of drama...
Sex and emotion go hand in hand for women. It's so difficult not to attach and get emotionally involved with a man once you have made love. How can a GIRL/child (or woman/child, if you're an older teen) possible manage that kind of emotional rollercoaster. It's just too hard. It's just not worth it!
Please don't rush into having sex. There are NO DO OVERS... plus there is no guarantee that he'll be your boy friend afterwards. In fact, statistically the boy DUMPS the girl after the sex is had... so please think hard about this decision. No do over's... :(

We are talking about a child here? Did you read the question? It was written by a confused child.
Why in the world are you saying if she wants to have sex it's her right?
She's not even old enough to drive a car, let alone have sex. She's probably still in middle school.
You don't want to have sex with this boy, don't. You're too young anyway. You don't have sex just because some one wants to. It's your body not his. Tell him NO!
