I have been chatting with this guy for a couple of months.. He seems really nice and we have a lot in common.. I said to him why not chat on the phone.He said a the moment he is not ready for it.. Not sure why not.. I know for a fact he told me he had a bad relationship.. My question is should I give him more time or stop chatting with him.. Its been about 3 months.. So how long is to long..

To me this seems to indicate there is a problem.

I would not put too much more time into this.

Ask him outright what his intentions are.

I'd be backing away from that chap. After 3 months if he has no interest in talking to you, then he's definitely flying a big red flag.

He may not be who he says he is. He could be a married man or a criminal - just move on and find a local guy to date.
