    Co act 1956 dividend
    The amount of dividend has to deposit in a separate bank a/c within 5 days of agm date.Is that 5 days includes holidays and sundays

    I don't know where you're at or what your rules/laws may be on this -- but as a general rule, things related to what businesses are doing are usually meaning "business days."

    The question relates to Indian Companies Act, 1956. I would attach the same meaning as morgaine300 with a slight change. The 5 days as stipulated are 5 business(working) days. If a holiday or Sunday falls in these 5 days they are excluded. Again, the 5 days start the day following the date of annual general meeting
