    How much can listing agent divulge regarding other offers?
    Listing agent is also my buying agent. What info can he give me about other offers? (price, contingencies, etc.) Does my offer (1st offer) have any advantage?

    Hello h:

    If you're the purchaser, and he's the listing agent, he DOESN'T represent YOU. He CANNOT. He already has an agreement with the seller to represent them... If that's the arrangement you have, run away. Clearly, he can't represent YOU, if he's representing THEM. If you don't understand that, you need to. If that's the arrangement you THINK you have, you'd better get it cleared up. If not, it'll COST you money, and other troubles.

    In fact, that's probably why you're having the questions you have. There's a BUILT in conflict. A REAL buyers agent would be able to answer these questions for you.
