    Landlord problems
    I stay on the same property with my landlord. My landlord switches off my geyser when I'm at work (to save on electricity costs) but forgets to switch it on. I end up having to take cold showers. I've tried reminding her and have talked to her on the issue a couple of times such that I now feel she conveniently forgets to switch the geyser on. What should I do, this is really frustrating.

    Hello m:

    Write her a certified letter. Tell her NOT to do it again. Tell her that you pay rent that INCLUDES hot water. If there's NO hot water, you're going to deduct a portion of your rent. Send your letter return receipt requested.
