What is the benefit of signing an agreed judgement
I am currently making payments to a collection agency for a hospital bill. They want me to sign an agreed judgement to be submitted to the court. Do I have to sign this and is there an alternative? Full payment is not an option at this time.

I don't think this 'agreed judgment' is necessarily a good thing seeing as you are currently paying them an agreed upon amount to clear up your debit. Collection agencies do not like payments to drag on as they like their blood money and interest up front, paid in full.

If you sign this agreement it gives them the edge. If you ever miss a payment they will go through your bank accounts and clean everything out.

Please consult a lawyer before this goes further. Any money you spend this way will be worth its weight in gold.
