How do I set the ajustment on my linkage cable on a 1996 ford taurus
My cable from my steering column shifter broke, I replaced it and now I can only go a little ways and it starts revin out and kicking back in, its like it doesn't know where its suppose to be. We adjusted the cable out under the hood but someone says it should be adjusted inside under the dash. But we have no idea how that is done or if it is the problem. Please help and give good instructions I'm really not a mechanic. Lol
