Is it time to Potty Train?
My 15 month old so is very advanced its amazing. She tells us when she's wet and needs a diaper change. She follows me into the bathroom and sometimes even climbs onto the toilet.

I think she is ready to potty train, but how do I know for sure.

Buy her a cool potty and make it fun. See what happens.

15 months is quite early, but who knows?

    Aren't they just amazing?

You can try, but this can be tricky. Just don't push it. And DON'T buy pullups. Get big girl barbie or dora panties.

Its said that a child cannot learn or know how to control their bladder until the age of two or thereabouts.

Some children have been known to be out of Nappies/Diapers earlier than this though.

Whether that's luck or judgement no one knows.

You could try your daughter on a potty, however she may just be mimicking you.

So by all means let her try a potty, but if she doesn't get used to it or out of her nappies then there's no need to fret or worry, most youngsters will get used to using a potty at whatever age they're ready.

If she doesn't get clean though I would suggest waiting until she's older, sometimes the potty introduced too early can have an adverse effect and put the child off.

When she gets it right or on the potty, give her lots of praise tell her she's a big girl and clever etc, this always helps.
