    My husband died with no will.
    My husband died and his name was on the loan and the deed. There was no will. I have been paying on this loan since he died in May '09 because I thought my name was on the deed. A title search showed that it was not. The house needs so many repairs it is not worth it to finance it in my name (needs foundation repairs, etc). Am I responsible for paying the loan? Will any of this fall back on our 2 daughters? There was no other equity that he would have had either.

    Also my name was not on the loan or deed.

    It along with other property needs to go into probate court. It can be sold though court to attempt to pay the debts
