    Racial Discrimination movie...
    I am trying to find the title of an old movie: Two college female friends, one black and the other white, travel across country. They were stopped in a small town by the local sheriff and thrown in jail. The white girl was given special treatment, however, the black girl was raped and beaten and left hungry.

    I am not sure about the ending, but that is the gist of the movie.

    Instead of just disagreeing, maybe you could add some more details, for instance what does "old" mean? 70's, 80's...
