    Muradic acid on brick patio
I used muraic acid to clean paint off my patio and now it seems to be holding moisture. It has not dried since I did the cleaning 2 days ago. What have I done to the brick and can I fix it?

    Hi, walks1!

You've probably removed what was on them to seal them from moisture.

What specific kind of bricks are they, please?

    Thanks!

Oops that's Muriatic acid. The brick is the same that was used on the house. I don't know the actual type of brick it is. The brick is a new. Does this help?

There is a strong chance the brick just looks wet. You may have removed more than the paint; sealer, dirt, dust and old mortart all color the brick and now its gone.
