    88 honda accord Lxi
Ok I just recently bought my 88 honda accord lxi. It had a cracked head so I replaced it. Then after replacing it the car would not start. We double checked to make sure everything was hooked up right and put together. Everything was fine. Then we replaced the fuel pump relay the car started but when you get on the gas pedal, hit bumps or go up hills it bogs down and spits and sputters. And eventually stalls. And won't start the fuel pump wouldn't engage at all. So we sprayed starting fluid in it and it would start right up. Did this about 5 times by the way. And eventually we were driving up a hill and got the same problem pulled over and tried the starting fluid again and got nothing. Tried for about an hour before calling a tow truck to get it back to my house the car still won't start.Check engine light doesn't come on at all anymore and there's no fuel going through the car. But we straight wired the pump and you can hear the pump running and feel the fuel going through the car. And still no start so we replaced the rotor button and still nothing. The relay tested fine. But there is power coming out of the ground on the harness and no idea how that is possible. And the engine cranks fine and there is fire but no start. Even when we have the fuel pump wired to run. What could this be we are stumped and have no clue what else it could be.

What's the computer flashing... and its not on the dash, its under the passenger side carpet at the fire wall.

Check your cam timing again... I'll bet its not timed correctly and a tooth or two off. More than two and you have valves hitting pistons and bending.

The only compter that I found was under the driver seat and it has a led light that's supposed to flash the codes but when we try to it doesn't flash any codes. Is there one somewhere else or am I looking at the wrong thing? And the car is firing just

The car is firing just not getting fuel. And when it does when its wired to the battery it still won't start but it is getting fire.
