    89 honda civic, standard, every time you put your foot into it in gear, it hestiates
    And becomes jerky until you shift to the next gear and then again as soon as you put your foot into it it does the same thing. As long as you are mellow on the throttle it seems to run fine.

    Yep, I had the same problem with my Honda and thanks to TxGreaseMonkey answear, its your ICM and coil but check your plugs and wires first.
