Harbor breeze universal ceiling fan and light wall control
I recently bought a Harbor breeze universal ceiling fan and light wall control for my existing wired fan. The existing wiring was two on/off switches (1 for the fan, one for the lights). The cable used in each case has a black wire, a gray wire, and a ground wire. When I hooked it up, the light dimmer works, but the fan speed control only works if the lights are on.
I hooked the black wire from the light to the black striped wire on the switch. Black wire from fan to black wire on switch. Gray wire from light to blue on switch. Green wire on switch to ground wire. Not sure what I did wrong

Ok, what wires do you have coming from:

    1. The ceiling
    2. The fan
    3. The remote receiver?
