Is the outside unit still running when the indoor fan stops working? If so does the outdoor unit keep running for a long period while the indoor fan is not running?

YOU need to keep your post together. Do not start another thread since it is difficult to follow when you do that.

If the indoor unit is not blowing all the time the outdoor unit is running then it is a problem with the indoor blower motor or capacitor. The capacitor is the cheapest item to replace so obtain a new blower motor capacitor of the same value and replace it. Run the unit and see if the blower stays on. If the blower stays on OK if not it could be the blower motor itself.

NOTE I am sure you have already checked the air filter to be sure it is clean and that all the registers are open and the return air duct is not blocked. Since this could also cause the problem by restricting the air flow causing the blower motor to overheat.
